our brand

herriot is designed and made in New Zealand using local production and craftspeople. It's all about small runs and sustainability, herriot is the opposite of fast fashion.

The approach is to understated, high-quality pieces that are contemporary and lasting.  The label doesn't follow the standard pattern of seasonal launches, choosing instead to release small collections when you least expect it.

our story

SS19 Capsule

'Intersection' features an exclusive silk print by local Wellington artist Jacqui Colley.  With such a beautiful print the shapes are simple and float on the body.  It needs nothing more - no bells or whistles.
These garments work beautifully alongside utilitarian pieces that are true to the herriot aesthestic.  Garments of comfort like a boilersuit, drop crotch drawers, duster coat, linen & silk shirts and dresses you won't be able to live without.

The first styles have dropped with more over the next two weeks.  For notification so you don't miss out subscribe below.

Doodle Tee for kids - limited edition

The doodle is a lovely play on our iconic 'her riot' print - doodled exclusively for herriot by Peter J Palmer in San Francisco.  This is a limited edition tee shirt - with $5 from each tee sold going to KidsCanNZ.

The KidsCan Charitable Trust is a charitable trust. Founded in 2005 in Greenhithe, Auckland, New Zealand by Julie Chapman, it works to help New Zealand kids living in poverty through a variety of programmes. They provide food, socks, shoes and raincoats to over 46,000 disadvantaged children.
